If you're having trouble downloading your resume or accessing premium features after payment, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Verify Your Login Email

Ensure you are using the same email address that was used during subscription. This is the email where you received your invoice from KudosWall.

  • Many users mistakenly log in with a different email, which does not have an active subscription.
2. Refresh Your Browser

Sometimes, a simple browser refresh can update your subscription status. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in.

3. Identify How Your Resume Was Created

Understanding how your resume was generated can help in troubleshooting:

  • Built from scratch (with or without AI suggestions).
  • Created from a previously imported resume.
  • Automatically enhanced from an uploaded resume.
4. Report the Issue

If you have verified that you are using the correct email and are still facing issues:

  1. Take a screenshot of the error message.
  2. Email the screenshot along with a brief description of the issue to [email protected].
  3. Attach the invoice you received from KudosWall and any other proof of payment.

Providing these details will help us quickly diagnose and resolve the issue, ensuring a smooth experience in accessing your resume.

  1. Move Sections Up or Down:

    • Click on the Up and Down arrow icon available at the section level.
    • Choose the "Move Up" or "Move Down" option to move the section one level up or down.
    • Alternatively, you can move the section to the top or bottom of your resume using the "Move to Top" or "Move to Bottom" options.
  2. Rearrange Items Within a Section:

    • Click on the Up and Down arrow icon next to each item (e.g., experiences) within the section.
    • Select "Move Up" or "Move Down" to change the order of items within that section.
  3. Location of Icons:

    • These icons are conveniently located to the left of the name of each section and each item under every section.

1. Is Your Antivirus Triggering a False Positive?

The error message might be a false positive triggered by your antivirus software. Here's how to check:

  • Test with Safe PDFs: Try downloading PDF documents from other trusted sources, such as bank statements. If your antivirus blocks these downloads as well, it suggests a false positive.

2. Disabling Antivirus (Temporary Measure):
Important Note: Disabling your antivirus software carries security risks. Only consider this as a temporary troubleshooting step:

  • If you're comfortable with the temporary risk, disable your antivirus program and attempt to download your resume again. Remember to re-enable your antivirus immediately after.

3. Ensure Up-to-Date Antivirus Software:

Outdated antivirus software can cause compatibility issues. Update your antivirus program (e.g., McAfee) to the latest version following the software's provided instructions.

4. Send Your Resume by Email

If you're unable to download your resume, you can easily send it to your registered email address. Use the "Share" option on your resume preview to initiate the process. Please allow a few minutes for the email to arrive, and be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox.

  1. Refresh Your Browser:
    This issue can occur if there have been UI changes during your session. Please refresh your browser (Ctrl + R for Windows or Command + R for Mac) and try downloading the resume again.

  2. Verify Your Subscription Plan:
    Ensure that the resume you’re trying to download is included in your subscription plan. You can check this on the Upgrade page of our website.

  3. Report the Issue (If Unresolved):
    If refreshing the browser does not resolve the issue and you continue to see the error, please capture a screenshot of the error message. Email the screenshot along with a description of the issue to [email protected].

Editing After Subscription Expiry: Can I Download My Updated Resume?

If your subscription has ended but you've made changes to your resume, please note the following:

  • You can still access and download the last version of your resume that was successfully downloaded while your subscription was active.

🚫 What You Cannot Do Without Renewal:
  • You cannot download a resume that has been modified after your subscription expired.

  • Resume edits made after your subscription ends are saved, but downloading those changes requires an active plan.
